7 Days Hungary Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Budapest

Arrive in Budapest and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, begin exploring the city with a walk along the Danube River. Visit the iconic Hungarian Parliament Building and cross the Chain Bridge for beautiful views of the river and skyline. Spend the evening enjoying traditional Hungarian cuisine at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Historic Buda

Day 4: Day Trip to Szentendre

Day 5: Explore Eger

Travel to Eger, a historic town known for its castle and wine culture. Visit Eger Castle and learn about the town’s Ottoman-era history. Relax at a thermal spa before heading to the Valley of the Beautiful Women, where local wine cellars offer tastings of regional wines including the famous Egri Bikavér.

Day 6: Lake Balaton and Tihany Peninsula

Drive to Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe. Explore the picturesque Tihany Peninsula, known for its lavender fields and historic abbey overlooking the lake.
