7 Days Nevada Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Las Vegas

Arrive in Las Vegas and transfer to your hotel on the famous Las Vegas Strip. Spend the afternoon exploring the themed resorts and casinos that line the boulevard. Walk past iconic hotels such as Bellagio, Caesars Palace, and The Venetian. In the evening, watch the Bellagio Fountains show and enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants along the Strip. End the night experiencing the vibrant nightlife that Las Vegas is known for.

Day 2: Las Vegas Highlights

Spend the day exploring more of Las Vegas. Visit the observation deck at the STRAT Tower for sweeping views of the city and desert landscape. Explore luxury shopping centers and themed attractions throughout the Strip. In the evening, head to Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas to experience the Fremont Street Experience, known for its massive LED canopy light shows, street performers, and lively atmosphere.

Day 3: Red Rock Canyon

Take a short drive from Las Vegas to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Enjoy the scenic 13-mile drive through dramatic desert landscapes and red sandstone formations. Stop at scenic viewpoints along the route and take short hikes on trails that offer incredible views of the canyon and surrounding mountains. Return to Las Vegas in the evening.

Day 4: Travel to Lake Tahoe

Travel north toward Lake Tahoe, one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in the United States. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of Nevada’s desert landscapes transitioning into forested mountain scenery. After arriving, visit Emerald Bay State Park for breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Spend the evening relaxing along the lakeshore while watching the sunset.

Day 5: Explore Reno

Drive to Reno, often called “The Biggest Little City in the World.” Walk along the Truckee River and explore the Riverwalk District filled with cafés, shops, and art galleries. Visit local museums or enjoy the lively casino scene that Reno is known for. Spend the evening experiencing the city’s entertainment and dining options.

Day 6: Valley of Fire State Park

Head to Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada’s oldest and one of its most scenic parks. Explore striking red sandstone formations and desert landscapes that glow brightly during sunrise and sunset. Visit the famous Fire Wave rock formation and hike through scenic trails surrounded by dramatic desert scenery. This is also a great location for landscape photography.

Day 7: Ghost Towns and Departure

On your final day, explore some of Nevada’s historic ghost towns that date back to the mining boom era. Walk through preserved buildings and learn about the state’s frontier history. Enjoy a scenic drive through the desert before returning to Las Vegas. Transfer to the airport for your departure.
